It's been too long...

Sorry for the delay in updating my blog. It is a challenge at times to access the only computer in the house with internet where 9 of us are living. But things are going very well here and I am learning and experiencing lots.


I wanted to post a few pics just to give a glimpse of what I am doing.



The first picture- this is when we went to help de-silt a dam in a village. We dug and then removed the dirt so more water could be collected in the dam during the rains. It was a fun way to meet the community. It was hot and a good neck workout.







Second picture- This is when we were installing a filter in someone's home in the village of Chanzou II.


Well, we are off to the field for a busy week of filter construction and getting to know the people in the new community of Kazamoyo!
